1. cp /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:1 2. In /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:1 change DEVICE=eth0 to DEVICE=eth0:1 3.
