Explained: Login Error to Email Address Via Webmail

Webmail is one of the popular emailing platforms that is used widely by professionals.

Webmail software consists of two open-source webmail software: Roundcube and SquirrelMail. Additionally, Roundcube also implies with various database types like “MySQL” or “SQLite”

Login To cPanel

The first step you’ve to do is to log in to your webmail. You can use your login details for logging into the webmail.

Search the File Manager option

Once you’ve landed on File Manager folder > Click on etc folder (/home/username/etc)

You can select the domain name from “etc folder” and after that, you’ll be redirected to “domain name”.

After that you’ve to click on that domain names > subfolders on other side > “info.rcube.db” and rename the file to “info.rcube.db-backup” file. After locating the domain name Click on the domain > you’ll redirect to sub files of that domain.

Click on the file > “info.rcube.db” and edit with the new file name to “info.rcube.db-backup

Next, once your changes are done then you can try to login again into your Webmail via cPanel/using the Webmail URL or refresh the tab
