Email when access the server
It’s always a good practice & from the security point of view to get notified instantly through an email when someone logs into your server through SSH with root privileges.
Open the file .bashrc for the root user.
enter the following code into
echo 'SSH Root Access (Your Server Name) on:' `date` `who` | mail -s "ALERT: Root Access from `who | cut -d"(" -f2 | cut -d")" -f1`" firstname.lastname@example.org
Note : Replace “Your Server Name” equal to your original server name and “email@example.com” equal to your original email address.
