9. Error 302 Found

A browser has updated its pages but search engines are not able to crawl the links of the resources. In SEO terms, it’s said that the link – juice is not sent to the new URL. Due to some technical reason, it’s suggested to set 302 code only as a response for GET or HEAD methods and to use 307 Temporary Redirect instead, as the method change is explicitly prohibited in that case.

This 307 Temporary Redirect status code informs that the resources requested have been temporarily moved to the URL given by the Location headers. Here, the method and body of the original request are reused to get redirected the process.

In such a scenario, you need to change the method used to GET and 303 See Other. To inform users you need to PUT method that is not the uploaded resources, but a confirmation message (like “You successfully uploaded ABC”).  

Their no major difference between 307 and 302 – the only thing is 307 guarantees that the method and the body will not be changed at the time of redirection. Whereas in 302, some old clients were mistakenly changing the method to GET: the behavior with non – GET method and 302 is then unpredictable on the web.

12. DNS Lookup Problems
