We can use MySQL Feature for changing the Root Password of the server so that any user will not be able to login as root and it will also help in preventing the hackers who are trying to guess the root password.
Step: 1 For that first let’s login to WHM. Here we are in the WHM interface.
Step – 2 For changing the root password from MySQL. Scroll down to “SQL Services” and click “MySQL Root Password”. Let’s set it to something secure. Now you can use upper and lower case letters, numbers, periods or special characters. This is a limitation of MySQL because of that it’s not a good idea to use the Password Generator
Step – 3 And click “Change Password”. A confirmation message will appear.
Conclusion: You have successfully changed the MySQL Root Password.
