Introduction to Domains: Site Publisher in cPanel

In today’s blog, we are going to discuss the “Domains” option in cPanel. In a previous blog, we learned about Remote MySQL. The following screen shows the various tools offered by this feature :

It includes various tools like :

  • Site Publisher
  • Addon Domains
  • Subdomains
  • Aliases
  • Redirects
  • Zone Editor

We are going to discuss each of these tools in detail, in subsequent blogs.

So let’s see how the Site Publisher tool is used?

  • Site Publisher : –

This interface is used for quickly creating a website from the set of available templates. Visitors can see only a basic information while you continue to develop your site.

For creating a quick website you are required to follow the below steps:

  1. Select a Domain :

When you click ” Select a Domain” option, following window will appear.

Here you are required to select the Domain, Sub Domain or Addon Domain for creating a website. On the same screen, your domain name and its directory contains are also visible.

  1. Select a Template :

When you click on this button, you will be provided with a list of templates. From them select a template for creating your website.

You will get various options in these templates like About me, Business, Personal, Under Construction, countdown, vCard etc. The template that you select here will determine which content you will enter in the next step.

  1. Customize and Publish : –

Use this option for customizing and Publishing your website.
