To Sign-up With StartSSL

Step 1 : Launch a web browser and navigate to the StartSSL Control Panel.

Step 2 : If this is your first time requesting a certificate from StartSSL, click on the Sign-up button.

                                                            Or

If you have already requested a certificate from StartSSL, log into your account.

Step 3 : Skip to the next section.

Step 4 : Provide the requested information

Step 5 : Click on the Continue button.

Step 6 : A verification code will be sent to the email address provided.

Step 7 : Then, log into your email account and provide the verification code.

Step 8 : Then click on the Continue button.

Once your email address has been verified.

Step 9 : Then, choose to generate a high-grade private key.

( This private key and certificate pair will be used to identify you to StartSSL.)

Note: If you ever lose it, you will be unable to regain access to your account, make sure to backup this certificate and private key.

Step 9 : Then click on the Install button.

Step 10 : Click on the Finish button.

You should now be logged into your StartSSL account.

Steps To Verify Your Domain Name with StartSSL

After installing or logged into your StartSSL account to verify Your Domain Name with StartSSL. Follow the Step to verify Your Domain Name.

Step 1 : In your StartSSL account, click on the Validations Wizard button.

Step 2 : Select Domain Name Validation.

Step 3 : Click on the Continue button.

Step 4 : Enter your domain name.

Step 5 : Click on the Continue button.

Step 6 : Then choose an email address @ your domain that you access.

Step 7 : Click on the Continue button.

Step 8 : A verification code should be sent to the email address selected.

Step 9 : Then, access your email account and provide the verification code

Step 10 : Click on the Continue button.

Your domain has now been verified.

Step 11 : Click the Finish button.
