How to Create, Modify and Remove Service Plan in Plesk

In this blog, we will see how to create, modify, and remove the service plan in Plesk. Service plans enable you to define packages of hosting resources that you can sell to your customers. You can design the packages based on the hosting resources, these packages are known as Service Plans. So that you can assign those to your clients on a server.

Creation of Service Plan in Plesk

You should use the below steps to create the service plan in Plesk panel:

Step-1: Login to Plesk panel as a reseller.

Step-2: From the left -side menu, In the “Hosting Services”, click on “Service Plans”.

Step-3: Click on the option “Add a Plan”.

Step-4: On the next screen, you will see a text box “Service Plan Name”. Enter the name for your service plan.

Step-5: In the tab “Resources”, various options are listed there. You need to set the quota limits for those. You can either define a particular limit for the options or set them to unlimited.

Step-6: In the next tab “Permissions”, choose the checkboxes for all the services and privileges you would like to provide.

Step-7: You will get the next tab “Hosting Parameters”, enable the checkboxes for hosting settings that you wish to enable.

Step-8: In “PHP settings”, check the boxes for enabling a PHP and choose the PHP version from a list box available there.

Step-9: Choose the email options that wish to allow from a “Mail” tab.

Step-10: Enable the settings for DNS zones from a “DNS” tab.

Step-11: You need to define the quotas and limits for a number of options in the “Performance” tab.

Step-12: In the tab “Logs and Statistics”, choose the boxes and fill up the text boxes for the option you would like to allow.

Step-13: The next tab is “Applications”. Enable the checkbox “Provide only applications that I select”, so that you can choose only those applications that you wish to enable for your customers.


In case, you wish to allow the customers to use all applications then clear or uncheck the checkbox “Provide only applications that I select”.

Step-14: Click on the “OK” button to save all the settings that are selected.

Modification of Service Plan in Plesk

Kindly use below mentioned steps to edit the created service plan.

Step-1: Login to Plesk panel as a reseller.

Step-2: From the left -side menu, In the “Hosting Services”, click on “Service Plans”.

Step-3: Select the service plan that you wish to modify.

Step-4: You will see the editing page for a service plan. Make the required changes here. You can change all the settings that we have seen while creating a service plan.

Removal of Service Plan in Plesk

You can remove the service plan from the Plesk Panel with below steps :

Step-1: Login to Plesk panel as a reseller.

Step-2: From the left -side menu, In the “Hosting Services”, click on “Service Plans”.

Step-3: Select the service plan you wish to remove, you need to choose the checkbox near to that service plan.

Step-4: Click on the “Remove” button. Plesk panel will remove that service plan.
