How to add an additional IP address using WHM?

IP address is not just a string of numbers in the world of internet. It has some meaning and use. We can say that there are so many things behind the process of assigning an IP address as well as limiting the IP address.

Today we are going to discuss about how to add an additional IP address using WHM. It is a very simple and easy process.

Please follow below steps:

Step 1 – Log in to WHM.

Step 2 – Go to ‘IP function’ section from here click ‘Add a new IP address’. A new interface will appear.

 Step 3 – Add a new IP address in ‘New IP’ or ‘IP range to add’ text box.

Step 4 – The subnet mask should be correct. I have chosen 255.255.255.0.  Select it from the drop down menu. Now click ‘Submit’ to add the IP.

Step 5 – The new IP is added successfully. Click show/delete. You will see current IP address which is now ready to use.
