Change the server’s main Shared IP address in WHM
In some cases, you might want the accounts on your server that don’t have dedicated IP addresses to share an IP address other than the server’s main IP.
WHM lets you change the main shared IP to any of those currently assigned to your server. Let’s get started.
Step 1- Login to WHM.
Step 2- Here you are in the WHM home Interface.
Step 3 – Under ‘Server Configuration’ go to ‘Basic cPanel/WHM setup’.
Step 4 – Change the main shared virtual Host IP to any IP address, currently set up on your server.
Note: – The server’s main IP will not be changed. Only the IP shared across all accounts without dedicated IP’s will change.
Step 5 – Scroll down. Click ‘Save’.
You now know how to change your server’s main shared IP address in WHM.
